Utilize power tools and equipment effectively to perform repairs and maintenance tasks. Read and interpret schematics to understand vehicle systems and components. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with service advisors regarding the vehicle needs and repair options. Conduct routine maintenance checks and services to ensure vehicles are operating efficiently. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with other service technicians to resolve complex vehicle issues as needed. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in all aspects of work. Certification from an accredited automotive program is a plus but not required. Install upgrades to load centers, decommission knob-and-tube systems, and install electrical connections to mechanical systems. Supervise and train Apprentices as required. Complete all necessary paperwork. Meet Neil Kelly safety standards. Apply knowledge of electrical codes (required) and familiarity with Oregon Solar Installation Specialty Code. Perform additional responsibilities as directed.
