• Applicants with experience in Fleet repair and maintenance procedures are preferred. • Ability to utilize crew lift equipment from an elevated position. • Familiarity with structural repairs of commercial fleet vehicles. • Familiar with resistance spot welding machine and its operation. • Repairs automotive bodies by removing, fabricating, attaching, and aligning parts, repairing dents, filling and sealing depressions, hammering, shaping, shrinking, expanding, filing, grinding, sanding, smoothing and feather edging surfaces; painting. • Must be willing to work in a high volume repair facility in close proximity with other employees. • Applicants should be familiar with interacting with high volume parts department during repair process. • Fiberglass repairs • Examines and evaluates damaged vehicles to plan for efficient repairs according to established standards. • Communicates with management and team members regarding vehicle repair status through all phases. • Notifies management of any difficulties or problems that may prevent a quality job from being performed or cause a change in the promised completion/delivery time. • Maintains tools and equipment in good working order. Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner. Ensures that the work area is organized, clean and free of safety hazards. • Maintains and wears all required safety and health personal protective equipment, including eye protection. • Cooperates and assists other personnel in the repair and prepping of vehicles, often dependent upon schedule and area of expertise. • Able to lift 50-75 lbs.
