Automotive Mechanic/Technician – Brake/Front End/Diagnostics/Under Hood and Under Car: Midas Auto Service and Tire Shop is looking for a Reliable and Experienced Automotive Technician that's able to work independently of others, while also being able to work collaboratively with peers. We're dedicated to providing quality services to customer vehicles in the areas of Inspection, Repairs and Diagnostic utilizing the expertise attained through ASE Certifications and/or years of automotive repair experience. We have a full-service facility that's well equipped with state of the art equipment. Our shop offers grow in knowledge, pay raises and bonuses while enjoying to help us create an environment of success. Responsibilities: You’ll be responsible for performing a wide range of repairs, maintenance, diagnostics and troubleshooting services: * Alignments * Brake service * Engine repairs * Suspension and steering * Diagnostic and problem solving * Timing belts, alternators, starters and water pumps * Exhaust, (welding not required, but an advantage) * HVAC service and repairs * Maintenance services * Bearings and Axle * Tune Ups * Etc, Etc Qualifications: * Able to service both Foreign and Domestic vehicles * A minimum of 2 years experience in a retail shop environment * Knowledge in automotive brakes, suspension, steering components, alignments and engine repairs * Knowledge of, and adherence to, safety and environmental standards for repair facilities * Valid driver’s license Required * Own tools Benefits: * Vacation pay * Sick Leave * Uniforms Provided * Employment Bonus * Parts and Tire Purchase Discounts Send Your Resume and/or Call Us at (253) 759-9516 Tuesday through Saturday between 8:30 am to 5:30 pm.
