JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of heavy machinery and equipment. This role requires a strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with various tools and technologies. The Heavy Equipment Mechanic will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and safely, contributing to the overall productivity of our operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on heavy equipment.
Perform routine maintenance on industrial equipment and vehicles, ensuring compliance with OEM specifications.
Conduct assembly and disassembly of components for repairs or replacements.
Execute hydraulic system repairs, including brake systems, transmissions, and suspension components.
Operate heavy equipment to test functionality post-repair.
Maintain accurate records of repairs performed and parts used.
Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their equipment needs.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to safety protocols.
QUALIFICATIONS
4 Years of fleet maintenance and repair
Proven experience as a mechanic with a focus on heavy equipment repair; .
Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
Familiarity with automotive diagnostics, HVAC systems, diesel engine repair, brake repair, alignment procedures, and tire service.
DOT brake certification
609 AC certified is a plus but not required
Experience in welding and fabrication is a plus.
Ability to lift heavy objects as required by the job duties.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
Previous experience in service technician roles or similar positions is highly desirable.

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
