General Responsibilities: • Finding leaks and fixing them with the highest quality and attention to detail. • Completing repair jobs as per the scope of work. • Providing notification if additional work is recommended. • Reporting all repair findings on an app with before and after pictures and basic descriptions. • Safety – always working within Interstate’s safety rules. • Customer communication Essential Duties and Requirements: • Able to transport, set up and use ladders for roof access. • Standing, walking, kneeling and working on sloped surfaces for extended periods of time. • Superior knowledge of composition roofing installation and repair. • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a steep slope roofing foreman. • Demonstrative leadership skills (leads by example). Positive attitude. This role can lead to a site supervisor or project manager position for the right candidate. Responsibilities •Perform carpentry and construction-related tasks efficiently and with minimal supervision, including framing and fine finish carpentry. •Assist in various onsite construction tasks and jobsite cleanliness/organization. •Communicate and cooperate with team members and clients in a respectful, positive manner. •Oversee the work of apprentice carpenters and assist in their education. Requirements •3 years minimum of remodel construction experience. New construction + other woodworking experience is also appreciated. •Have reliable transportation to and from work. Pickup truck or work van preferred. •A professional set of hand and power tools •Be willing to travel to job-sites in and around the Portland metro area •Be punctual and professional in appearance •Proficiency in basic math and fractions •Work between 25-35 hours per week •Ability to lift 50 lbs.
