All H.E.A.R.T. Fleet Services LLC is seeking a full time Journeyman Technician for our growing company. We are looking for shop and field technicians. Ready for immediate hire. The hiring bonus is contingent on you completing and passing your 90 day probation. The amount will be disclosed during the interview. We want to see that you are capable of doing what you say you can do. Must be able to work with minimal direct supervision in diagnosing air leaks, check engine light, fuel/coolant leaks, and engine oil leaks. Must have a good working knowledge of DPF/DEF exhaust systems in various makes of class 6 - 8 trucks and trailers. We are a 24 hour business and open all 7 days per week doing roadside repair services (not all jobs are actually roadside). Field techs will be on a rotating schedule and must be willing to go on a service call if it comes in between midnight and 5 am. Shop techs will have a set schedule. (2 shifts available.) Must take pride in your work! Be self motivated. Looking for the “Do it right and safely the first time” type individual (Both of our names and reputations are on the repairs you make for us.) H.E.A.R.T. stands for Heavy Equipment And Road Trucks. Veterans encouraged to apply. We are classified as an essential business, so there is no drop in work load. JOB ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Must be able to understand directions both verbally, by text and/or email. Don't be afraid to ask questions either. Must have strong customer service ethics. You will be providing repair services for class 6 - 8 trucks and trailers. Heavy Equipment repair is also helpful including hydraulics and welding experience. Must be able to repair turbo issues, brakes, wheel seals, air bags, carrier bearings, u-joints, clutch adjustments, to name a few. Must keep work truck neat and organized so you know where to get to your tools in a timely manner. Know what parts you have, so you can re-stock after using. At the end of each job or work shift, you prepare your vehicle to go on the next service call. (I.e. top off the fuel in the truck, air compressor, welder, and fuel cans if they were used.) Preferred experience with Cummins Insite, J-Pro, DDDL Diagnostic Link and/other manufacturers diagnostic software. Must be able to keep track of work performed, and give details of service provided. Preferred if you know how to order parts and resources for obtaining them at different hours of the day/week. Must be able to send picture texts and pin drops. REQUIREMENTS: Must have 3+ years of a combination of Technical school training and with work experience. Must pass pre-employment drug testing, to include acceptance of random testing. Must have a valid driver license and be insurable, please bring a MVD report. Must have knowledge of DOT Regulations. Must have necessary tools to do this type of work. We provide the big tools that are expected of a shop. Preferred some clerical experience to do your paperwork correctly. Prefer some experience up-selling other repairs that are necessary for DOT regulations and willing to secure a vehicle that is unsafe to be put back into service. Knowledge of dismount/mounting of semi tires is also a plus. Must live in an area that allows company vehicles parked in your driveway/neighborhood (check your HOA if you have one). Compensation: TOP PAY for the RIGHT candidate. You will have a company vehicle provided. Fuel/parts credit card is provided. Vacation pay Major Holidays are paid after 90 days of employment. Health Insurance options are available also after 90 days.
