Installer Full-Time Program Description: Join our team at Rebuilding Together Sacramento in a rewarding role that makes a real difference for vulnerable neighbors. You’ll help older adults, people with disabilities, and other low-income homeowners live safely and independently by installing accessibility items such as grab bars, wheelchair ramps, modified steps, and railings. Work will be performed both independently and as part of a team. At present the pipes are supported by wood blocks that are in various states of disrepair and do not prevent the movement of the piping on the roofs. All of the roofs are flat top, 3 are of similar size and scope. All work shall conform to IFGC and NFPA standards (latest editions). Supports shall be standard rubber or iron supports preventing movement. Supports shall be every 10 linear feet O.C. for the 2” gas piping, 140 linear feet 1” gas piping, 100 linear feet. All work shall conform to IFGC and NFPA standards (latest editions). Building 935 dormitory: Provide new gas pipe supports. Supports shall be standard rubber or iron supports preventing movement.
