Paint Booth Maintenance Technician (Sacramento, CA)

Job description Location: Greater Sacramento and East Bay, California Job Status: Full-Time: Mon-Thursday Status: Accepting Applications - Please include a resume with a response. We are looking for someone with experience in the general field. Applicants without related experience will not be considered. Position Summary: Provides paint booth maintenance services to Body Shop Solutions customers. Position Responsibilities: Remove spent filters from booths and replace with new filters according to filter specifications. Remove coating from internal surfaces of paint booths and reapply materials. Sweep and shovel debris from the booths. Dispose of paint booth residue Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times. Remove paint overspray from pit/exhaust systems Sand paint from interior walls/surfaces Comply with safety policies and procedures. Operate power tools and other equipment safely. Provide additional support as needed. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Communication Skills - Excellent verbal communication skills. Customer Service - Strong customer service orientation. Safety Equipment - Strong ability to work safely with equipment. Team Environment - Strong team player. Attendance - Regular attendance and punctuality. Preferred Skills and Experience - Prior experience in the fields of maintenance, janitorial, or construction. Prior experience operating power tools. This job is labor intensive and heavy lifting is required. Job Types: Full-time Salary: Starting at $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week Schedule: 8 hour shift Experience: Maintenance: 1 year (Preferred) License/Certification: Driver's License (Required) Ability to Commute: We are at a different location each day.
