Looking for a trustworthy, intelligent and mobile person to help manage a small apartment building (36-units) part-time. Our team is dedicated to treating our residents with respect and dignity and adhering to Fair Housing laws. The Leasing Agent is the front-facing representative of the property, responsible for resident relations and day-to-day operations that support high occupancy and resident satisfaction. The ideal candidate is organized, friendly, and proactive in managing leads, move-ins, renewals, and service coordination. Key Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): *Leasing & Sales Respond to inquiries, show units, follow up on leads, and maintain guest card data Process applications, conduct background checks, and prepare lease agreements *Rent Collection & Delinquency Collect monthly rent and issue late notices in accordance with lease terms Track payment status and escalate delinquencies or evictions as needed Work with our team and legal if notices or filings are necessary *Tenant Relations & Communication Serve as a point of contact for tenants, along with other team members Coordinate with maintenance staff to resolve issues and communicate timelines Handle move-in and move-out logistics, inspections, and welcome materials *Property Oversight Coordinate unit turnovers and “rent ready” processes with maintenance Monitor third-party vendors (landscaping, pest control, cleaning, etc.) Conduct regular property walks and identify needed repairs or improvements Qualifications: Prior leasing or customer service experience preferred Strong communication and organization skills Familiarity with property management software (e.g., DoorLoop, AppFolio) is a plus Basic understanding of landlord-tenant laws and fair housing regulations Compensation: Competitive hourly rate based on experience.
