We're back again looking for "that guy". We've had some great jams but still looking for the right fit. There has to be one out there somewhere. We're searching for an older drummer, mid fifties and older. Since we are a blues based rock band, dynamics are essential, looking for someone that can be soft and quiet all the way to full tilt boogie, always in the pocket but never over the top. Our philosophy is the groove is most important. We play a mixture of covers and original material. What we do is get together every other week or so and we video tape the selected songs at which point I'll take the raw footage, edit it into a sensible video and post it on YouTube. We have one video with over 500 views. Since we have little desire to play out there will be no recompence other than access to all the video footage to do with as you see fit. Considering the pay for most bands in this area a video probably holds more value in this day and age. The drum set in the pictures is the "house set". It's a tad dusty but we take good care of it and previous drummers liked it just fine. Although some preferred their own cymbals or snare, which is fine. The studio is out west in Dripping Springs so this needs to be taken into your consideration. As mentioned previously, we get together twice maybe three times a month so this leaves plenty of time for life outside of this project. If you've made it this far and are interested, drop me a line and I can send links and such. Thanks
