I am looking for a housemate to rent a room (or 2 rooms). Searching for a housemate that is a good fit so please read the post and respond with info about yourself and what you are looking for in a shared housing environment. Oct 1 move in (flexible between now and nov), if the post is up it’s available - I will not respond to “is this available” or requests to see the space without information about you as a potential roommate. Home is in town in mosier. Beautiful, wood floors, natural light, gas fireplace, river view with porch. Small outdoor space with room for garden beds or other projects. Shared Laundry and plenty of garage storage. Parking on the property. There is a private studio apartment downstairs that is rented by another woman with a dog and 2 cats. You would have ability to rent a room, that could be furnished or unfurnished and have your own private bath. There is a 3rd bedroom that could be used for more closet space, your office if you work from home, guest bedroom or extra movement space, or rented part time - open to discussing options. The garage space is large and designed for storage and a multipurpose use space for pottery/art etc. for all 3 people in the home. I am 35 live/work locally in Hood River. I Bike, Kite, Yoga, Snowboard, Cooking, Dancing, Art, music, pottery, Spirituality etc. I have a blue heeler that lives with me in the home and so appreciating/understanding dogs is a must. I tend to stay pretty active, work as a bodyworker/yoga instructor, and appreciate my home space being clutter free, clean, and homey. Ideally looking for someone 30's-40's who is mindful, clean, active, intentional, communicative, financially secure. Would enjoy shared meals or tea/coffee amongst the house. Is attentive to clutter and picks up common spaces, does dishes etc. Is ok with guests/friends/partners coming by for meals/hangs. A couple could be considered but rent would reflect 2 people. A pet is potentially ok - however, would need to get along with my dog, as well as the cats/dog in the studio downstairs as they would share a yard. 1 month refundable deposit, and first months rent on move in.
