Tree Service Hiring (Johns Island)

Our Company: Arbor Care is a family owned and operated tree care company, that has served Charleston and the Resort Islands for the last 36 years. We are located on Johns Island. We have 3 certified Arborist’s on staff. We primarily serve the surrounding resort islands such as Kiawah Island and Seabrook Island. Most clients are residential, however we do serve many commercial properties such as golf courses. We implement the best and newest equipment on the market and have a new shop and a full time mechanic on staff. We are a growing business and are looking for experienced climbers to become a part of our team. Job Description: Groundsman: Working full time (mon-fri) 40-50 hours/week. Paid time and a half over 40 hours. Performing tasks on the job dictated by foreman/supervisor such as helping with pruning, cleanup (chipping brush), loading wood onto trailers with machinery, etc. Driving trucks to and from the jobs Be attentive, reliable and on time Climbers: Must have experience as a climber and be proficient at rope advancement and rigging techniques. Position would include getting trucks fueled and out the door. Performing tasks on the job dictated by foreman/supervisor such as pruning, tree removal, cleanup (chipping brush) Driving trucks to and from the jobs Potentially move into a foreman position Be attentive, reliable and on time certified tree climber is a plus certified arborist is a plus Pay dependent upon skill level.
