PLEASE SEND RESUMES TO INFO@COMMUNITYSOIL.COM JOB DESCRIPTION: Eco Landscape Water Systems Specialist/Project Manager ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversee and assist with exterior water systems installation: locating/connecting to existing water lines, install new water main lines, install sprinkler and drip systems, connect water timers, install drainage lines, etc. Read irrigation plans and create basic cost estimates, Assess existing water systems and assist with water system design for in-town and broad acre properties Determine water pressure/flow needs, pipe size/type, and backflow prevention as it relates to system design Oversee general landscape installations and crews Project coordination and assist with layout- grading, utilities, hard and softscapes Alternative water system and softscape installation: rainwater, greywater, swales, rain gardens, etc. Work in and around various landscaping settings/ecosystems Plant Care: oversee planting, amending, pruning, and diagnosing of plant health issues Ability to stay organized & communicate effectively with staff and landowners QUALIFICATIONS: Must have valid CA Driver's License Experience with both conventional and sustainable landscaping practices and design Experience with large residential irrigation systems, rainwater, greywater, and drainage Intermediate to advanced horticultural knowledge Enjoy working in a team setting Ability to problem solve Adaptable to different job demands DESIRED BUT NOT REQUIRED SKILLS/EDUCATION: Knowledge/experience with Permaculture-based landscaping Familiar with California Native Plants Familiar with AutoCAD QWEL certified Familiar with edible landscapes and sustainable agricultural systems Familiar with local BMP’s Familiar with Organic approach to Integrated Pest Management Bilingual (English/Spanish) Experience with building and/or overseeing building of patio, shade structures, dry stack rock walls, paths, trellis’, planters, etc. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Often move lift and/or move up to 25 pounds Occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds Pay Rate/Benefits: $30-$40/hour to start Retirement plan, dental, vision, seasonal bonus’s Work attire provided: shirt, hat, boots, jacket Job Type: Full-time Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Vision insurance Experience: Irrigation design: 1 year (Preferred) License/Certification: Driver's License (Required) Work Location: In person PLEASE SEND RESUMES TO INFO@COMMUNITYSOIL.COM

Job Summary: Eastern Drayage is seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious Yard Worker to join our team. This role involves handling materials, operating forklifts, assisting with rigging and slinging, and ensuring safe loading and unloading operations. The ideal candidate must be comfortable working in various weather conditions and following all safety guidelines. Key Responsibilities: Must have had experience operating lifts at a capacity of 35,000 lbs. Emphasis on experience with loading and unloading steel pipe. Handle tools and lashing materials as necessary. Place or remove dunnage, including materials resting on transport surfaces or stacks of pipe. Stay clear of all suspended loads during loading and discharge operations. Hook and unhook lifting gear as required. Understand and apply the fundamentals of rigging and slinging. Operate forklifts safely and efficiently. Dismantle and store rigging/slinging equipment after use. Signal or verbally direct workers engaged in hoisting and moving loads to ensure worker and cargo safety. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines. Climb up or down containers to access materials. Qualifications & Skills: Minimum of 3 yrs specifically with experience in bulk commodities and out of gauge materials. Prior experience in a yard or warehouse environment preferred. Knowledge of rigging and slinging fundamentals. Ability to operate forklifts (certification preferred or willingness to obtain). Strong awareness of workplace safety procedures. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. Physical ability to climb, lift, and perform manual labor as needed.
