Job Qualifications and Skills --Journeyman HVAC License preferred --Beneficial to have welding experience --Able and willing to follow direction exactly, efficiently, and quickly. --Gather materials, as directed, and load onto a work van in an organized way so it can be pulled off in the right order for the job. --Able to be directed and corrected, and remember standard operating procedures. --Able to lift 50 lbs alone, 80-110 lbs with help of co-worker. --Able to climb and descend a ladder; to crawl in tight spaces; to safely use power tools. --Able to pass a background check. Job Title: Maintenance and Facilities Department: Operations / Facilities Location: Oxford Commons Job Summary: The Maintenance and Facilities Tech is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operational efficiency of all building systems, equipment, and infrastructure. Facility Maintenance: Perform repairs, preventative maintenance and replacement of building components including but not limited to: · Building Furnishings (Door handles, Hinges, and closer, curtain wall glass and gaskets, ceiling tile, cove base, mini-blinds, floor and wall coverings · Plumbing (Restroom fixtures, unstop drains) · Electrical (lights and lighting ballasts, wall receptacles, switches, circuit breakers, mechanical parts such as fuses and starters, magnetic starters, controls components, emergency generator, emergency power distribution) · A/C Controls (thermostats, cold deck sensors and/ or controllers · Take the initiative on problems and special needs of the property or tenants.
