MAINTENANCE TECH / HANDYMAN Facilities Maintenance person needed with light plumbing, light electrical and general handyman experience. Must have your own tools and reliable vehicle for 1 - 4 work orders per day for commercial clients in the LA and surrounding areas. Please note that work orders can be at different locations each day. Must have knowledge of Apps and how to download and utilize their functions. Will inspect and identify vehicle conditions on different types of equipment such as tractors, trailers, or mixers. Will install, select, or identify proper tire replacements & legal limit knowledge. Diagnose and repair vehicle system engine failure and vehicle system transmission & gear box failure. Follow manufacture service and troubleshooting procedures, diagnose and repair vehicle system. Diagnose and repair vehicle Aftertreatment systems, Advance Electrical systems, Air brake system and brake valve diagnose. Diagnose and repair vehicle Hydraulic system failure. Diagnose and repair HVAC failure diagnose. Complete all maintenance duties as assigned, and repair all equipment on property including, but not limited to, diesel, plant, or yard equipment. Perform routine and preventive maintenance to keep vehicles and equipment in compliance with DOT and company standards. Minimum Education and Experience High school diploma. 4+ years of heavy-duty tractor maintenance experience. 4+ years' experience of work on electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems. Must have own tools. Preferred Education and Experience Associates degree, technical school certificate or equivalent experience. 5+ years of heavy-duty tractor maintenance experience. 5+ years' experience of work on electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems. 3+ years' experience welding.
