Peter Chang’s fine dining flagship Chang Chang is looking for 1-2 bar team members. Please have minimum 2 years experience in a fine dining or upscale casual restaurant with a bev program that includes cocktails, wine and craft beer. You’ll be a great fit for our small bar staff if you’re professional, a self-motivated adult who plays well in a group sandbox and doesn’t need management to be your babysitter. Our business has been stable, despite what’s been going on in DC, and our bartenders average $45+/hour. Hours are easy with no late nights. We’re looking for both full and part time.

Wipe down and reset tables with proper place settings (napkins, cutlery, glassware). Refill water glasses as needed. Assist in pre-bussing during service to keep tables uncluttered. Dining Room & Service Support Keep floors, chairs, and service areas clean and presentable. Carry food trays to and from kitchen when servers need support. Help servers by delivering bread, water, or condiments. Respond promptly when guests need extra napkins, cutlery, or high chairs. Back of House Support Bring dirty dishes and glassware to dishwashing area. Sort and organize dishes, utensils, and glassware properly for dishwashers. Restock service stations with napkins, utensils, water pitchers, and condiments. Teamwork & Hospitality Work closely with servers and hosts to ensure smooth service. Anticipate guest needs and act proactively (quietly and efficiently). Be attentive but not intrusive; move quickly and professionally. End of Shift Duties Reset dining room for next service (tables, chairs, floors, service stations). Restock supplies: napkins, utensils, condiments, water pitchers. Dispose of trash, recyclables, and linens in designated areas. We are a very busy music bar in need of hard working and reliable barbacks. Able to lift more than 40lbs. Able to manage staircases carrying beer cases, empty bottles, heavy garbage, ice buckets and liquor bottles. Capable of moving beer kegs in the cooler. Looking for experienced people who will wipe the bar clean, pick up empties, mop spills, sweep up, tend to the restrooms, and be there as the support to the bar staff and the management. Michael's Restaurant, media, entertainment, celebrity watering hole, now in our 36th year of business, seeks qualified servers with excellent fine dining skills. FULL TIME Qualified applicants MUST HAVE 2-4 YEARS OF NYC FINE DINING experience. Please do not respond if you do not. THIS IS A FULL TIME POSITION. Absolutely NO WALK-INS or phone calls.
