Construction company looking for an experienced Class A Driver with Equipment Operator experience Responsibilities include: - Operate Class A vehicles to safely transport heavy equipment, machinery, and materials to and from job sites. - Coordinate delivery and pickup schedules with field superintendents and office staff to meet project demands. - Operate all company and non-company equipment being utilized on job sites to assist with specific tasks as needed. - Serve as the primary point of responsibility for the general maintenance, organization, and readiness of all company trucks (the fleet) and all non-drilling construction equipment. - Perform and document routine preventative maintenance on all assigned vehicles and equipment, such as fluid level checks, tire pressure, and basic inspections. - Maintain the overall organization, cleanliness, and safety of the entire company yard. - Develop and implement efficient systems for storing equipment, tools, and materials. - Conduct regular inventory checks of yard assets. Qualifications: - Possession of a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License and a clean driving record. - Proven experience in heavy equipment operation and routine maintenance. - Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a demanding workload. - Excellent communication skills for coordinating with both field and office staff. - Ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively. Physical Demands: - Ability to operate heavy equipment and commercial vehicles for extended periods. - Capability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 75 lbs.) and perform physical labor in various weather conditions. - Comfortable working in a construction and yard environment.
