Dog Walkers & Cat Sitter needed - Must be able to care for both (Bushwick/ Bedford Stuyvesant / Crown Heights)

This is not a regular job with an office. Think of it as Uber for dog walking and pet sitting. You are on call for jobs. Must be available to work between the hours needed. Having a flexible schedule works bests. Hiring Dog walkers and Cat Sitters - Perfect position for supplemental $$ - Must be available on holidays and weekends. Must be able to care for both dogs & cats. MUST be available these fall/winter holiday weekends: Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s. If you’re not available, these dates do not apply. Looking for someone who doesn't travel much. If you tend to go away on weekends and during holidays a lot this is not a position for you since our high season is during the holidays and weekends when clients travel and when you will make the most money. Compensation : $12 - $16 varies per assignment not paid by the hour - Perfect position for supplemental income. On average you can make $22 an hour (does not include travel time (5 - 10mins), but you must put in the work! The more you work the more you make. We are in need for reliable Pet Sitters with flexible schedules to join our team. The ideal candidate for this position is passionate about animals and has some experience caring for pets in a professional setting. You will be walking medium - large dogs. Responsibilities include providing basic care such as feeding, walking, and playing with the animals, as well as providing emotional support and companionship. We are looking for someone who is reliable, trustworthy, and has a deep love for animals. Responsibilities: - Provide a safe and comfortable environment for pets. - Be able to recognize signs of illness or distress in animals. - Provide basic care such as feeding, walking, and cleaning up after pets. (picking up poop & scooping litter boxes) - Administer medications as prescribed by the pet's veterinarian. - Send messages to clients of pet care activities. - Maintain a clean and safe environment for pets. - Follow safety protocols when handling animals. - Currently looking to cover these areas: Bushwick/ Bedford Stuyvesant / Crown Heights Between the hours of 2PM - 9PM We are open between 7AM - 9PM. Your Dog walk availability: 1PM - 7PM Monday - Friday and sometimes weekends. Your cat sitting availability: 1PM - 9PM Monday to Friday 8AM - 9PM Saturday - Sunday Cat sitting - Morning Visits and Evening Visits In order to work you have to open availability during these times. You will not work the whole shift just have to be available. Your first 6 months are a probation period. If you work well and fit with my business, I will keep you on long term and a possible raise based on performance and how much work you take on. Possible bonus at end of contract. Independent contractor position - background check - contract to sign - able to commit 6 months minimum - Have a fairly flexible schedule - perfect position for freelancers/remote workers/college students Misc-1099 given at the end of the year. - you will pay your own taxes The type of work: - Must be comfortable with cats, other small pets, dogs of all sizes and breeds. You will walk big dogs and must be in control at all times. Have a professional demeanor and well dressed. No sweat pants or cut up jeans. - are friendly and passionate about animals. Is responsive to messages and calls in a timely manner (very important!) Other Requirements: - Have your own form of transportation -Any form: bike, electric scooter, car - this is the best way for you to get around to jobs quicker. (Required) NO public transportation. - A current smartphone - We have our own app! (IPhone preferred) -Tech Savvy with Apps in general. You will be punching in and out of our app for jobs. -Taking videos and pics for clients. -Note - This should not be your only source of income. This is a part-time job with part-time pay. We are looking for those who are true hustlers and have a love of animals.
