Line cook, pizza maker and prep for Italian Restaurant (La Mesa)

Little Roma is a Mom & Pop business in La Mesa, San Diego. We are looking to hire ASAP. The environment is fast paced, experience in food prep and food services will be helpful. Please specify what position(s) you are interested in. Line Cook Responsibilities: -Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with established recipes and standards. -Ensure food quality and presentation meets our high standards at all times. -Work collaboratively with kitchen team members to expedite orders efficiently during peak hours. -Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including food preparation stations and equipment. -Monitor and manage inventory levels, including ingredients and supplies, to minimize waste and ensure sufficient stock for daily operations. -Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe and hygienic work environment. -Assist in receiving and storing deliveries, rotating stock as needed. -Follow instructions from the Head Chef and management team to fulfill special requests and accommodate dietary restrictions. Requirements: Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment Must be dependable and punctual Food handling experience is a plus, but we’re willing to train the right person
