ESSENTIAL DUTIES Maintain a professional, friendly, and courteous attitude toward guests, managers, and teammates Arrive on time for scheduled shifts and breaks, in full uniform; follow all timekeeping procedures Prepare and cook all menu items according to recipes, portion guidelines, and presentation standards set by the Executive Chef Set up, maintain, and break down workstation daily; complete all opening/closing side work and cleaning tasks Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen line and storage areas; follow all food safety protocols Monitor food quality and freshness; ensure proper storage, labeling, stock rotation, and temperature control Assist with prep tasks such as chopping, mixing, baking, and roasting; support team during high-volume periods Accommodate special dietary requests and allergy-sensitive dishes with care and accuracy Taste, test, and adjust dishes as needed to ensure proper flavor and doneness Perform additional duties as assigned by the Executive Chef or management Requirements 3+ years cooking experience in a high-volume kitchen; fine dining or country club experience preferred. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Basic culinary training and knowledge of food safety and storage. ServSafe Food Handler certification required. Able to stand for extended periods (8+ hours) and perform physical tasks: bending, lifting (50 lbs), reaching, etc. Must be comfortable navigating a two-story kitchen and handling repetitive motions.
