Responsibilities Safely operate vehicles in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations. Provide transportation services for clients, ensuring timely arrivals and departures. Communicate effectively with clients to ensure their needs are met during transport. Deliver excellent customer service by addressing any questions or concerns from passengers. Keep accurate records of trips, including mileage, fuel usage, and passenger counts. Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies while on the road. Experience Previous experience in driving roles such as paratransit, limousine, commercial driving, bus driving, school bus driving, delivery driver, shuttle driving, or van driver is preferred. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members. A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required. Ability to handle various driving conditions and navigate efficiently in urban environments. Customer service experience is a plus, demonstrating the ability to engage positively with clients. This schedule may rotate days dependent on HOS and timing of freight demands. The truck is parked in Sacramento and dispatches PM in Stockton. This is a LOCAL position. No owner operators. Driver must have a minimum one year of tractor trailer experience pulling doubles within the last three years or three years of driving experience within the last five years. Home daily.
