ShareOur team is currently looking for a self-motivated Diesel Mechanic, with his/her own tools, to keep up our level of commitment to safety and customer service. The mechanic will perform truck repair and maintenance work in accordance with factory and industry standards, run diagnostics on vehicles and work closely with other team members to meet company goals. Diesel Technician responsibilities • Perform minor and major repairs on trucks and trailers. • Conduct regular preventative maintenance inspections on trucks and trailers. • Perform DOT inspections. • Perform major repairs to equipment, including engine, rear end, clutch, brake, and transmission. • Perform minor repairs to equipment, including but not limited to cutting, welding, changing tires, and replacing lights. • Perform electrical system repairs on vehicles. • Maintain clean and organized work area. • Professional appearance and language (no profanity) Applicants must be able to pass a background check and drug test. Experience, skills, and knowledge • 2+ years of Diesel Technician and/or mechanic experience preferred. • Proficient knowledge of scan tools, mechanical, and electrical systems • Valid driver’s license • Self-motivated person who comes to work on time every day.
