Essential Functions and Responsibilities: -Clean and sanitize restrooms with established procedures/standards, may include showers. -Empty all trash containers, both indoor and outdoor. -High and low dusting. -Sweep, mop, and/or vacuum floors. Maintain exterior entry ways out to ten feet of entry. -Clean interior and easily accessible exterior windows. -Follow verbal and written instructions regarding the use of chemicals, supplies, and equipment. -Lock and unlock rooms/buildings when cleaning; secure building when not in use. -Report unauthorized occupants and unsecured doors. -Participate in safety training as necessary. -Perform other duties as assigned. Physical Requirements: -Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, climb, balance, bend, stoop, and kneel in the completion of normal cleaning duties. Other repetitive motions are required. -Ability to regularly lift and/or move 25 to 50 pounds unassisted as a regular part of cleaning duties. May occasionally be required to lift or move over 50 pounds with assistance. -Must be physically capable of using a backpack vacuum during each shift. -Good hearing and vision. Able to visually examine cleaning products for labeling accuracy.
