Responsibilities • Greet guests warmly and guide them through the menu with confidence and knowledge. • Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system. • Deliver food and drinks promptly and professionally. • Provide recommendations, upsell specials, and pairings that reflect Safta’s cuisine. • Ensure tables are set, clean, and maintained throughout service. • Handle guest concerns with professionalism and escalate issues to management when necessary. • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient service. Qualifications • Prior serving experience in a full-service or upscale restaurant preferred. • Strong knowledge of food and beverage service. • Excellent communication and hospitality skills. • Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure. • Positive attitude and team-oriented approach. • NYC Food Handler’s License a plus (or willingness to obtain).
