Some responsibilities for this position include: - Clearing and re-setting tables - Polishing and re-stocking tableware, glassware, etc. - Helping the team ensure that the restaurant is always looking it's best! ABOUT US Nari - which means "women" in Thai - is the second SF restaurant from Michelin-starred Chef/Proprietor Pim Techamuanvivit. Historically, Thai recipes and techniques were always shared by women. From Thai aunties, mothers, sisters and friends; Thai cuisine has been preserved through generations. Now we want our restaurant to be an expression of this tradition. Like our sister restaurant Kin Khao, we are cooking at Nari with an emphasis on preserving Thai techniques. Combining these methods with the bounty of the Bay Area, we make delicious Thai food with a seasonal nod to California. French bakery located in Manhattan is looking for a confirmed salesperson with outstanding customer service. Serious inquiry only. Must have: -1+ year in Bakery customer service ( experience in a French Bakery is a big plus ) -Food handlers required Right candidate is: - Familiar with POS System - Must be a team player with EXCELLENT customer service - Comfortable with running 7 to 8 hours shifts standing -Must be able to learn the production line of French pastries and follow the rules of the company -Multitasking by serving pastries, making coffees, charging customers (barista experience is a big plus!) -Refill packaging, beverages when needed -Answer phone, take phone and in store orders by paying attention to details - Occasional moderate to heavy (25-50 lb) lifting and carrying, bending and reaching overhead may be required. -Update inventory sheet - Able to maintain the highest standards of food presentation and sanitation - Must be a fast learner and operational in a minimum time - French speaking a plus but not required We offer one week of paid vacation after one year of seniority.
