Position Overview:  The Project Manager will manage a variety of projects and manage the project team in the Water and Wastewater Treatment market.  Projects may vary between private and public owners, as well as a variety of delivery methods such as lump sum, negotiated and design build work.  Assigned Responsibilities: Responsible for the management of the construction contract(s) and/or work orders Supervisory responsibility for project team assigned to contract(s) and/or work orders. Collaborate with other Project Manager(s) in the office, as necessary. Collaborate and monitor Superintendent(s) performance on contracts and/or work orders. Create and collaborate on work proposals. Negotiate financial disputes and change orders with owners. Administrative point of contact for the owner Understand details of project scope of work Create and maintain project cost reports. Document and negotiate changes that may affect project completion or contract costs with subcontractors and owners. Develop field quality assurance and quality control plan with Superintendent. Collaboration of project safety plan with Superintendent(s) Responsible for managing MBE/WBE subcontracting requirements. Responsible for EEO/Affirmative action contract requirements Must report to various work locations as assigned. Requirements B.S. in Construction Management or Engineering and / or 10 years of construction experience.  Minimum of 6 years managing construction projects Experience managing Job Order Contract projects preferred. Ability to manage multiple projects and personnel simultaneously. This position will be responsible for partnering with the Product team to lead a subset of the WiFi Product Roadmap for the team and business. In this role, you will support construction projects from start to finish, assisting with project planning, cost tracking, document management, and field coordination. Under the guidance of a Market Leader and Project Managers, you will play a key role in ensuring projects run smoothly, on schedule, and within budget. This position offers a mix of responsibilities: Project Engineering – Oversee project progress, manage scopes of work, and ensure quality control. Administrative Support – Maintain project documentation, track contract details, and manage communications. Field Work – Visit job sites to monitor construction activities and address challenges, conduct thorough inspections of in-place construction work to ensure compliance with contract documents, including plans, specifications, and applicable codes. Monitor project budgets, schedules, and subcontractor performance, providing regular updates. Address client needs, concerns, and requests throughout the project lifecycle. Review engineering deliverables and recommend corrective actions. Maintain bid sites with plans, specifications, and addenda. Develop scopes of work and compile project manuals. Track and distribute bulletins, ensuring pricing accuracy for Project Managers. Maintain and update project information in PM software. Document OAC/CM meetings and participate in project management discussions. Provide updated unit pricing for estimating department. Perform other duties as assigned. Review and process contract material submittals Process RFI Field quality assurance and conformance Monitor construction site for safety compliance or concerns Requirements Education: Bachelor’s degree in construction management. Experience: 1-3 years in construction, or successful completion of an internship/co-op in the industry. Technical Skills: Proficiency in construction software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Access). Familiarity with scheduling software is a plus. Competencies: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Passion for continuous improvement and innovation. Other Requirements: A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for job site travel. Environmental Factors The work environment for this position may subject the individual to hazards commonly associated with construction sites. Examples of physical hazards include noise, proximity to moving vehicles, atmospheric conditions, close quarters, uneven surfaces, and elevated surfaces. The individual may also be subjected to outside environmental conditions (weather) where protection may not be available. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required at all times outside the job trailer. The work environment for this position may also include occasional visits to the corporate office and job site trailer, the physical demands require the ability to sit for long periods of time.
