Vintage mid century modern extension dining table, made in Denmark by Skovmand & Andersen and imported to the US by Moreddi c. 1970s. With a fully expanded length of 115 inches, it accommodates 10-12 guests comfortably. The draw leaf mechanism allows the leaves to store internally when not in use. The legs start square before transitioning to a round stiletto taper, blending seamlessly with the frame. The ends of the leaves are shaped to meld seamlessly with the main surface. Solid teak edge banding borders both the leaves and tabletop. A simple and practical table with plenty of thoughtful design elements to appreciate. In excellent refinished condition.
