Peninsula Powder Coating seeks a full-time Maintenance Worker to join their team in Baraga, Michigan. The ideal person for this position is someone experienced with general maintenance (carpentry, welding, electrical and/or mechanical maintenance) and able to maintain equipment, buildings and grounds. WHAT YOU WILL DO. • Inspect, repair and maintain facilities including painting, plumbing, electrical repair (replace outlets, ballasts, fans, etc.), heating and cooling systems, grass cutting and trimming, snow removal, and minor construction jobs (cement work, general carpentry, general welding, etc.). • Maintain inventory of repair supplies and materials. • Perform maintenance and preventive maintenance duties as scheduled. • Maintain effective and professional communication with staff. WHAT WE OFFER. • $18.00 - $22.00 per hour starting pay based on your experience. • Company provides a monthly stipend to put towards health insurance, if needed. • Supplemental insurance and life insurance. • 401(k) retirement plan with 3% company matching contribution. • Paid time off (vacation, sick time) and paid holidays. SCHEDULE. This is full-time, Monday–Friday position generally working 7am – 3:30pm. Some schedule flexibility required for emergency situations.
