P.R. Russell, a family-owned and operated mulch and soil manufacturer, is seeking a dedicated Forklift Operator to join our team. Located in Brentwood, NH, we pride ourselves on providing top-quality bark mulches, soil, and compost to our customers throughout New England and the Mid-Atlantic. As we continue to expand our product range, we are looking for self-motivated and energetic team members who can contribute to our growth and commitment to excellent customer service. Responsibilities Ensure safe and efficient handling of palletized materials in the warehouse, including loading and unloading of trucks. Conduct quality inspections of pallets before loading and accurately complete required paperwork. Manage pallets from the manufacturing line, including stacking and unstacking for storage and shipping. Perform physical inventory counts and basic maintenance on assigned machines. Assist in various tasks in the shop and yard, including operating additional machines, bagging equipment, testing materials, and cleaning. Maintain professional communication with drivers, customers, and front office staff, reporting any issues with orders. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of recent experience operating a forklift, with experience loading and unloading flatbed trailers. Strong communication skills and ability to use time efficiently. Organized and detail-oriented with a willingness to learn and work in various areas. Ability to work overtime and weekends when necessary. Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
