Hi! I'm in my 30s looking for a third roommate to fill a bedroom in our 3-bedroom house. Currently there is myself (Melissa, 30s), my roommate (Dan, 30s), a dog and a cat. I live in a wonderful house in the northern part of Capitol Hill and currently have a room for rent, available immediately. There are 2 rooms downstairs that are adjacent to each other, with a third bedroom upstairs. The two downstairs rooms share a full bathroom. The house was built long ago so it has good character, appliances are functional but quirky, it's very welcoming and nicely updated. The kitchen, bathroom, and hardwood floors have all been redone, and there's a spacious kitchen with granite countertops, hardwood throughout, and central heating, and washer/dryer. There’s also a lovely, sizable front porch and a small grassy yard. Large windows bring in great morning and afternoon light, with tree-filled views and occasional sunsets from the bedrooms. The neighborhood is quiet and safe, with easy access to Volunteer Park, Safeway, 15th Ave, and all the bars and restaurants along Pike/Pine. A bus stop on the corner provides direct access downtown, and there’s free street parking right in front of the house. Since we already have 2 pets in the home, unfortunately no additional pets will be considered. With 3 occupants the utilities come out to around ~$50 per person/month (electric, internet, gas, heat.) Water and garbage bills free/included in rent. I’m looking for a long-term roommate who is easygoing, friendly, and communicative, but am open to all. Assuming a good fit, the lease is one year. Move-in requires first month’s rent + a $500 security deposit, but no other upfront costs. Move-in details: First month's rent $1250 + $500 security deposit, no other upfront costs Monthly $1250 rent + ~$50/month utilities 6 month sublease Priority will go to renters with the soonest desired move-in date, as we're looking to fill the room asap. If you're interested please email for more information, or to possibly set up a time for us to meet! Melissa
