Night Shift Caregiver Job description Medication Technician, who is also a CNA, needed for small assisted living facility. Must be Maryland Medication certified with current certification on Maryland Board of Nursing. Only certified applicants will be considered. Must: Be a current Maryland certified medication technician as well as Certified Nursing Assistant Have prior experience as a lead caregiver in a small, assisted living facility/group home. Be familiar with current assisted living regulations. Have completed the Maryland COMAR Staff and Cognitive Impairment Training. Be able to prepare and serve American dishes. Be a hard worker and able to work as part of a team. Have CPR/First Aid certification Have experience as a Caregiver. Have authorization to work in the United States. Have immediate availability. Duties: Charting or taking notes for others to review Reading, writing, and carrying out directions Reporting changes in the health or status of the client Taking vitals, height, and weight Feeding clients Providing companionship and supportive listening Maintaining patient’s health equipment Responding to emergency situations Administering medication Light housework Frequency needed: Daily Work nights / no sleeping / 8-hour shift Able to drive between 3 facilities in the Temple Hills, MD area This Job Is Ideal for Someone Who Is: Dependable -- more reliable than spontaneous. Adaptable/flexible -- enjoys doing work that requires frequent shifts in direction.
