We have an opportunity for an experienced CNC Citizen Lathe Machinist looking for a 6-9 month, short duration assignment filling in for a machinist on leave. Start immediately for training and work through the end of March 2026.  Possibility of extending employment beyond March 2026 for the right candidate willing to transfer full-time to nights or weekend days (plus shift differential). $29-31 hr. Shift: Days, Monday=Thursday, 6:00 am - 4:30 pm With possibility of moving to Night or Weekend days by extending full-time employment beyond the 6-9 months with additional shift differential. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Set up and run machines Schedule and prioritize jobs for CNC Citizen Lathe Check stock for materials needed for jobs Alert Production Manager about parts that need to be ordered Checks tooling on machines Assist in quoting jobs for the Swiss Machine Maintain the fluid levels on machines Grind tools for Lathe OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Train other employees on operation of various CNC lathes, if needed.
