The Facilities Department at Saint Michael’s College is seeking applications for a full-time Physical Services Supervisor. The position will manage several smaller departments within Physical Services to include; Grounds. Shipping & Receiving, Mechanic and Special Services. The position is Monday-Friday, 6:30am-3:00pm with the need for overtime and working off hours/days at times. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Responsible for and assists with the maintenance of the campus grounds throughout the year including lawn care, snow removal, campus litter, etc… - Responsible for and assists with the maintenance of the athletic fields including game field preparation and line striping - Responsible for managing the department’s operational budget - Addresses and/or assigns daily work orders Our lived experience impacts how we self-assess our skills, experience, and qualifications. The ability to read blueprints and schematics, along with a commitment to quality workmanship and team success, is essential. Conduct low voltage and high voltage electrical work as required. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute projects accurately. Perform renovations and construction tasks involving electrical installations. Ensure all work complies with NEC standards and safety regulations. Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to complete projects efficiently. Maintain a clean and organized work area Experience Proven experience as a residential and commercial electrician is required. Strong electrical experience with the ability to handle both low voltage and high voltage systems. Previous construction site experience is essential for understanding job site dynamics. Ability to effectively use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
