The Bogart Finish is a full-service construction and client-focused company operating in Boston and surrounding areas. We pride ourselves on a fully integrated design + build approach with a commitment to craftsmanship, creativity, and value as we carefully guide our clients through every step of the process from pre-construction and permitting to architecture and interior design, to construction and home care.
We are currently looking for a Full-time Experienced Construction Foreman to start immediately. In this hands-on position, you will work to successfully complete projects from start to finish including effectively delegating and leading the project to ensure a highly efficient operation.
Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 5 years work in a similar role.
If you fit these qualifications above and below, then you’re the person we’re looking for:
-Are experienced in all phases and types of construction including: demolition, framing, finish carpentry, masonry, windows and doors, tiling
-Create, execute, oversee, and manage construction projects, scheduling, materials, scope of work, execution of plans, project costs and change orders, and monitor progress and compliance
-Effectively communicate with field crews, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure project workflow and quality of work
-Analyze blueprints and foresee potential adjustments
-Comfortably communicate with clients, designers, architects, subcontractors, and vendors.
-Keep our clients consistently in the loop by sharing weekly goals, tasks, and job progress
-Manage job site cleanliness
-Display a positive attitude at all times
-Exhibit strong time management and problem resolution skills
-Are technologically savvy. Buildertrend experience is a plus
-Have a work vehicle, your own tools, and are able to lift heavy loads
