Il Corallo Trattoria is a bustling casual full-service Italian restaurant located in Soho that has been successfully operating since 1992. This is an opportunity to join a well seasoned hospitality team with highly competitive tips/wages & a stable schedule with reasonable hours. We are looking for self directed, mature, results driven individuals with a strong work ethic who thrive in a fast paced work environment. Availability on Weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) is a MUST, and to have a flexible schedule 3+ years of verifiable experience working as server in a NYC restaurant Knowledge of Italian food and wine a PLUS, willingness to learn a MUST A pleasant & professional demeanor with both guests and co-workers Fluency in English and Spanish is a MUST Strong understanding of proper steps of service & health code standards Please send a resume & cover letter for review. Bakery Nouveau in Burien is looking to add a new team member to our busy dessert station! We are hiring for 40 hours per week, with a schedule of 5 am to 3 pm, or 6 am to 4 pm, Thursday to Sunday. The dessert team's main responsibilities include: - Scaling, mixing, and cooking or baking of dessert components, such as cakes, choux, creams and fillings, in quantities set by the production manager. - Assemble and finish cakes and mousse desserts. - Slicing and 'plating' of individual portions. - Assist cafe staff with keeping the dessert case properly stocked. - Keep work stations stocked and organized. - Promptly informing the lead or manager of any stock needs or equipment issues. - Assisting with cleaning the dessert production area, including sweeping and mopping as necessary. Ideal candidates will have: - One to two years' experience in a moderate-to-high volume dessert kitchen or recent completion of a qualified pastry and dessert program. - Ability to read and follow task lists and recipes. - Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
