This is a hands-on, project-based internship designed for students or early-career professionals who want direct experience in lobbying, government affairs, and community advocacy. Key Responsibilities Research federal, state, and city policy issues affecting immigrant and diaspora communities. Monitor legislation, prepare briefs, and track relevant hearings or sessions. Assist with stakeholder outreach, coalition-building, and event planning. Draft memos, advocacy letters, and talking points. Support meetings with policymakers, community leaders, and partner organizations. Help coordinate local advocacy events and forums in New York City.
