Videographer / Editor / Producer Needed for New RDN YouTube Channel!! (South Nashville)
My name is Randy Santel and I'm currently a "professional eater" living in Forest Hills / South Nashville, Tennessee. I posted an advertisement for this same opportunity around this time last year, but didn't follow through and start the new YouTube channel because I realized afterwards that I didn't have enough time available to dedicate myself to getting the channel going, prior to all the end-of-year holiday travel we had planned. I apologize to anyone who applied last year, who never heard back from me!! As I said, I'm currently a professional eater who attempts restaurant food challenges all around the world. I've been doing that since 2010 and have 1372 eating challenge wins in all 50 states plus 44 countries. All the challenges are videoed and published on my "Randy Santel" social media. Back in 2016, I started back at school to become a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) and I continued that process while still a pro eater. This past December 2024, I finished up my Master's Degree, so I have completed all of the education process that is involved. This past summer, my fiancé Katina Eats Kilos and I went on a multi-month trip around New England, Central Europe, and England. At the time of this posting, I still have 25 videos remaining, ready to be edited and posted once per week over the course of the next 25 weeks. I already have a video editor who handles production of my food challenge videos. With that said, I'm ready to start the new YouTube channel that I'll use as a social media dietitian. I've been working on a book / nutrition education system since 2012 and that will eventually be a main feature regarding content for the channel. Initially though, the channel will start out focusing on my own weight loss, since I have gained weight over the years as a food-digesting pro eater. The first few videos on the channel will document my "starting" weight, blood levels, channel goals, and body composition. We will work together to figure out content from there. I'm looking for a videographer / editor / producer to work with who is local to the Nashville area. I live by Radnor Lake State Park, where a majority of the initial videos will be filmed, in our kitchen area and fitness gym. Hourly rate / salary really depends on the individual based on experience, time commitment, and preferences. Revenue from my "Randy Santel" social media will fund the initial start-up of everything until we can get some channel momentum going. The eventual goal is to also work with brands and diversify revenue sources so that I can eventually retire from professional eating, moving forward with my dietitian goals. I am not at all a micro-manager and have no plans to become one, so the best fit for this opportunity is someone self-motivated who doesn't need or want someone always looking over their shoulder. We will work together to sort out a filming and posting schedule we can each stick to, and flexibility will be necessary as well. I will of course review the videos beforehand and help you with everything necessary. I'm now able to fully commit to this new venture. Mainly, I will need this person to film and produce the videos. I'll handle all the actual postings and social media, but am also open to help if the person wants to do more than just filming and editing videos. I eventually plan on getting into public speaking and a lot more as I grow and get better with everything, so travel in the future could be possible if desired and we can just see where everything goes. If interested, please send some kind of resume and your thoughts on everything. I apologize in advance for not considering any applications by people who aren't local to the area who cannot be conveniently available. If I was interested in that, I'd just get more help from my current video editor in Utah. This channel will probably start out as part-time work, but you can become closer to full-time if you are interested in helping me film a few extra videos filmed at home for my Randy Santel pro eating social media, especially during the holiday season upcoming. I've got lots of ideas we can chat about. The eventual goal is to start with the channel and grow into a lot more, such as a podcast (not in 2025 or even first half of 2026). More team members will be added when the time comes to start the websites, phone app, and other stuff that my book / nutrition education system will require, and you are welcome to be part of all that too. We will just have to see where it all goes. Thanks to anyone who responds to this and feel free to ask any questions. I'm ready to start with everything right away, but can also wait a few weeks too if necessary. Let me know any thoughts and thanks to everybody who has read this posting. Have a great week and good luck with everything!! *Please note that you'll need your own computer and editing software. I have a 4k camcorder, drone, and other things that can be used as needed for filming videos. We can use my stuff or yours, whatever you prefer. I'm not really looking for an entry-level person or beginner, so the person I work with will likely have his or her own gear. Just wanted to mention that I have equipment available too.
