Agility MFG Inc. located in Dover NH has a full-time, permanent position currently available for a Stockroom associate. This is an entry level position. We will consider a part-time schedule for qualified candidates. Ø Job Summary: Primarily responsible for the kitting and de-kitting of jobs to be built by production (cutting, pre-forming, etc. of components). Other responsibilities include cycle counts, putting received parts onto shelves and filling crib slip shorts for production. Ø Summary of Essential Job Functions: Correctly entering data into PC/MRP system, use of MS Excel for forms and spreadsheets, equipment operation, process adherence, shop cleanliness. Ø Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent certificate required. Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferable. Summary Under minimum supervision, operates and follows instructions to operate the machines in a safe and efficient manner. Monitor the operations of the machines and notify the supervisor if there are any problems. Visually inspect parts produced and determine if they meet quality standards. Complete documentation on defective parts. Essential Duties • Operator molding and other production machines in a safe and efficient manner, notifying the lead or supervisor if there are any problems. Some troubleshooting skills are required. • Visually inspect parts and determine if they meet the acceptable quality limits. Conduct quality checks using measuring equipment. • Package parts as specified to ensure proper and safe handling of the product. • Log all rejects on the Attribute Charts. • Review the operator inspection procedure before taking over any job. • Label all boxes after packaging to ensure proper handling of parts. • Ability to use basic measuring Equipment. • Degate and trim parts as required using secondary machinery to accomplish. • Ability to perform secondary operations such as gluing, welding, trimming, and some assembly. • Ability to use part count scale. Position Summary: Analyzes specifications, lays out metal stock, sets up and operates machine tools, and fits and assembles parts to fabricate and repair metalworking dies, cutting tools, jigs and fixtures, gauges, and machinists' hand tools by performing the following duties. Responsibilities: • Study specifications such as blueprints, sketches, models, or descriptions, and visualizes product to determine materials required and machines to be used to fabricate parts. • Computes dimensions, plans layout, and determines assembly method and sequence of operations. • Sets up and operates machine tools such as lathes, milling machine, and grinder, to machine parts, and verifies conformance of machined parts to specifications. • Verifies dimensions, alignments, and clearances. • Examines standard or previously used dies, tools, and jigs and fixtures, and recommends design modifications regarding construction and function of part. • Develops specifications from general descriptions for specialty tools and draws or sketches design of product. • Must help the team maintain a clean and organized environment. • Work with Maintenance Dept to reproduce machine parts for timely repairs. Skills & Abilities • Understands Controls and Instrumentation, Manufacturing Experience, Mechanical Inspection • Proficient with a variety of machine tools, including, lathes, mills, grinders, etc. • Proficient with the use of both metric and standard measurement systems. • Proficient in the use of precision gauging. • Experience with single hit and progressive dies • Experience working with progressive dies (tight tolerances) in a precision metal forming/stamping plant. • Experience trouble shooting progressive die production issues. • Follow and enforce all safety policies and procedures • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Education & Experience • A minimum 15-20 years’ experience .
