HVAC Service Technician (Wasilla / Palmer)

We are seeking a talented and reliable HVAC Service Technician to install, maintain, and repair residential and commercial equipment. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with strong diagnostic abilities and excellent customer service skills. This is a full-time position with a focus on both reactive repair work and preventative maintenance. Responsibilities : Respond to service requests and field dispatches in a timely manner. Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues with equipment and systems, accurately identifying problems based on customer descriptions. Perform on-site repairs, maintenance, and installations according to company standards and safety protocols. Maintain accurate and organized records of all service activities, including work orders, parts used, and hours worked. Coordinate with the service team and management to ensure timely completion of tasks and efficient scheduling. Manage and maintain a vehicle inventory of necessary parts, tools, and supplies. Adhere to all company procedures, safety regulations, and industry standards. Build and maintain positive relationships with customers through professional and friendly communication. Qualifications and Skills : Proven experience as a Service Technician or in a similar technical role. Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with excellent problem-solving skills. High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certification or trade school degree preferred. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines. Physically capable of lifting heavy equipment and working in confined spaces. Proficiency with basic computer skills and mobile technology for reporting. Compensation: 50.00 an hour after benefits.
