Description

Experienced excavation and underground utility contractor in the Portland Metro area. We are currently hiring for an excavation laborer position. The perfect candidate would have experience with assisting and installing underground utilities, checking grades, running small compactors, experience with hand tools, and assisting operator with cuts and fills. Underground utilities experience would include: Sewer lines Storm systems PGE conduits Telecomm Conduits Water lines All types of pipe including PVC, 3034, Ductile Iron, ABS, C900, Concrete, ADS, UL Using a laser and grade rod as well as understanding grades Applicants must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening Excellent pay, a great work environment, health insurance benefits, sick pay, vacation pay, and retirement program. JOB SUMMARY: The Maintenance Technician is responsible for providing excellent resident service through daily maintenance projects as assigned by the direct supervisor.
