Position Summary: We are seeking a professional, experienced, and highly organized full-time housekeeper for a private residence. This role requires a keen eye for detail, the ability to follow structured cleaning schedules, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization. The ideal candidate is proactive, trustworthy, and can manage daily and periodic housekeeping tasks with minimal supervision. Location: Germantown, Maryland Structured Cleaning Schedule: Daily Tasks: • Wash dishes/load and unload dishwasher • Clean kitchen surfaces, sink, range hood surfaces • Make beds and tidy bedrooms • Vacuum bathrooms and wipe down bathroom toilets and sink areas • Dust and vacuum high-traffic areas • Take out trash and recycling • Laundry: washing, drying, folding, ironing (as needed) • General tidying and organization Weekly and Bi-Weekly Tasks: • Deep clean bathrooms (showers, tubs, tiles, grout) • Change and launder bed linens and towels • Mop hard floors and deep vacuum carpets • Dust furniture, light fixtures, and baseboards • Vacuum and clean under furniture, behind bed headboard • Clean kitchen appliances (inside microwave, fridge exterior, etc.) • Clean patio, entry areas and Garage • Wipe down interior doors and frames • Dusting and wipe down blinds and windows • Inspect and clean cleaning tools and restock household supplies Monthly Tasks: • Clean inside oven • Dust ceiling fans and vents • Organize pantry and kitchen cupboards • Clean inside refrigerator and freezer Semi-Annual Tasks: • Assist with seasonal wardrobe rotation or decluttering and vacuum • Vacuum, Wipe Clean out and organize storage spaces • Wipe down living space interior walls Additional Responsibilities: • Run household errands (if required) • Report any repairs or maintenance needs promptly • Assist with meal preparation (as needed) • Care for houseplants Qualifications: • Minimum 3 years of housekeeping experience in a private residence • Excellent knowledge of cleaning procedures, products, and equipment • Physically fit and able to perform duties efficiently • Excellent references required • High attention to detail and time management • Discreet, reliable, and respectful of privacy • Must learn and adapt to the homeowner’s specific cleaning processes within the first month to ensure continuation of employment. Work Schedule: Full-time: 5-6 days per week, 1pm to 7 pm (Can Vary) Flexibility to work on weekends, holidays, or extended hours. Hello, we are looking for someone interested in working in a house cleaning service. We are willing to teach if you have no experience. No experience or education is required, just good physical condition and willingness to learn. This is a physical job that requires energy to maintain the same pace throughout the day. Attention to detail and the ability to follow and remember instructions are needed. After training, you are expected to work at the same speed and quality level as others. There will be break times between houses while traveling, unless you choose to drive, in which case you will be paid for that. We are looking for someone who can work at least 30 to 35 hours per week. Pay starts at $17 per hour during training, which normally lasts between 1 and 2 weeks. Afterward, the base pay is $18 per hour, with an increase if you know how to drive ($19) or if you learn additional types of cleaning. There is also the possibility of advancing to team leader with higher pay. The workday starts at 7:00 a.m. You must be ready to be picked up at Millikan Way or at Beaverton Transit Center. The schedule is stable: we clean the same houses every two weeks, but the departure time depends on how many houses are cleaned that day. On average, two houses are cleaned per day and finished around 2:00 p.m., although sometimes work may extend until 5:00 p.m. In rare cases, there are four houses in one day, and advance notice will be given if a later departure is expected. Payment is delivered at the end of the week, on Saturday, or on Monday if you do not work on Saturday. During training, payment is given at the end of each day.
