Follow federal, state, and local regulations that affect the collision center’s operations, such as hazardous waste disposal and OSHA guidelines. Perform other related duties as assigned, including cleaning the shop, assisting teammates, and mentoring body tech apprentices. Skills and Qualifications Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a journeyman body technician in a collision repair environment. Proficiency in using industry-standard tools and equipment, including welders, frame machines, and hand tools. Strong knowledge of repair techniques, bodywork, and alignment methods. I-CAR certification is a plus. Ability to read and follow repair plans, damage reports, and manufacturer specifications. Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality repairs. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Physical ability to stand, bend, and work in various positions for extended periods, and lift up to 50 lbs.
