Qualifications • High School Diploma or equivalent • 1+ years prior machine operating experience in a manufacturing facility • Familiarity with machining tools and equipment • Ability to comprehend and follow instructions • Ability to communicate and interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization, both verbally and written • Ability to function in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating needs • Strong organizations skills • Attention to detail and time management skills • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time • Ability to work in a warehouse environment where temperature varies depending on the season • Ability to show up for work on time and work a flexible schedule as needed to meet production needs Responsibilities • The Machine Operator will safely control various machines and equipment involved in production • Operate machinery in accordance with required specification • Load and unload materials into machines • Produce the required quantity of parts with the established specifications and tolerances • Inspect equipment prior to use to ensure that proper setup and alignment • Perform basic and routine adjustments and maintenance • Monitor machine during operation to ensure they are running and make any necessary adjustments as needed • Troubleshoot issues in a timely manner to minimize disruption with production needs • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
