Trummer's is an award winning restaurant in its 16th year right in the heart of Fairfax County. We are a family owned and operated business run by Victoria and Stefan Trummer who moved down from New York City to open a restaurant near family. Trummer's is a high quality restaurant with a comfortable feel right in Historic Clifton. Hospitality is what we are known for and what brings our guests back over and over again. The beautiful dining space also attracts multiple weddings and special events monthly. We are hiring a Maitre'D and floor manager to support the restaurant service and operations. We are looking for someone passionate about hospitality, food and beverage who can help create an exquisite dining experience - starting right at the front desk. We are looking for someone ready to jump in and help wherever you're needed at the front desk or on the floor. A minimum of 1 year full service restaurant management experience is required. Sorry - but fast casual or fast food restaurant experience is not applicable to this role. This position can be part time or full time. - Enjoy Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year's Day as we are closed - Taste incredible food, wine and cocktails and learn more about creative cuisine and cocktails Responsibilities Include: - Ultimate hospitality for each and every guest who walks in the door - Running the books (Opentable) and seating - Assisting in the bar and lounge as needed - Assisting on the floor as needed - Guest interaction and service - this is a hands on job - A basic knowledge of point of sale systems, steps of service and food/beverage knowledge required For consideration please email a copy of your resume.
