We are seeking skilled and reliable independent contractors to perform maintenance and repair tasks in apartments across the Continental United States. As an independent contractor, you will be responsible for various maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the upkeep and functionality of residential properties. Responsibilities: - Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks such as: - Plumbing: replace faucets, fix leaks, minor plumbing repairs. - Electrical: replace outlets, secure loose wires, minor electrical repairs. - Drywall repair. - Painting. - Carpentry: install cabinets, repair windows and doors, other minor carpentry jobs and repairs. - Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory. - Other maintenance and repair tasks as assigned. Requirements: - Previous experience in maintenance or related field preferred. - Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Familiarity with REAC/NSPIRE protocols preferred but not required. Training will be provided for qualified candidates. - Must be willing to travel throughout the Continental United States. - Valid driver's license and clean driving record preferred but not required. This job requires the following responsibilities and skillsets; • Drive a vehicle to a location provided by the employer the day prior. • Drive to various locations throughout the day as prompted by the employer. • Organize tools and equipment, keeping track of current supplies and shortages. • Have a general understanding of vehicle maintenance and keep logs of vehicle-related activities. • Perform routine vehicle checks, including lights, and ensure the vehicle is in good condition. • Maintain a valid driver's license. Additional Responsibilities: • Conduct routine vehicle check-ups for lights and other necessary maintenance. • Keep logs of vehicle-related activities and maintenance tasks. • Ensure the vehicle is off during work hours unless being used for work-related purposes. • Work long hours, typically ranging from 5:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
