Role Description: As a Professional Driver, you will be an essential part of our operations, ensuring the timely and safe delivery of goods. Your commitment to safety, customer service, and efficient transportation will help us meet our delivery goals and maintain our reputation for excellence. Key Responsibilities: -Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods to various destinations. -Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to ensure safety and compliance. -Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure roadworthiness. -Maintain accurate and up-to-date logs of all deliveries and hours of service. -Communicate effectively and professionally with dispatchers and customers. -Handle goods with care to prevent damage and ensure proper delivery. -Assist with loading and unloading of cargo as needed. -Represent Hogland Transfer Company with a positive and professional attitude. Required Qualifications: -Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record. -Hazmat Endorsement or willing to get one prior to employment (Some loads include lead acid batteries) -53' experience is a must -Flatbed experience is helpful -Proven experience as a professional driver in the trucking industry. -Minimum 1 year of Truck Driving experience (2 years preferred) -Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards. -Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles. -Strong organizational and time management skills. -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. -Ability to handle the physical demands of the job, including lifting and moving heavy items. -Commitment to punctuality and reliability.
