SUMMARY: The Material Handler II receives, stores, and distributes material, equipment, and products within the establishment by performing the following duties. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: •Work within company guidelines and policies to ensure warehouse functions are consistent with procedures defined for this level after being trained. •Weighs or counts items for receiving and distribution to multiple manufacturing plants in San Diego. •Fills requisitions and work orders or issues material for distribution to assembly lines using manual and computerized programs. •Packs finished goods and materials for shipment to customer locations using various freight carrier methods and systems •Receives material components and assemblies from suppliers to support manufacturing, engineering, and customer service operations. •Performs other related duties as needed or assigned. •Knowledge of UPS, FED EX applications REQUIREMENTS: •High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) or one to three months related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. •Excellent reading, writing, and math skills. •Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. •Good communications skills •Strong computer skills •Ability to meet deadlines •Must be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs. •Skill: Applies acquired job skills and company policies and procedures to complete the assigned task. •Job Complexity: Works on semi-routine assignments but recognizes the need for occasional deviation from accepted practice. •Supervision: Normally follows established procedures on routine work; requires instruction only on new assignments.

Work in a family owned and operated business. • Able to do own Setups to Powder Coat all metal parts. • Performs preparations for powder coating of parts by cleaning the paint booth every day before producing parts, selects the color to be used based on the Work Orders and Drawings. • Operates baking oven and monitors temperature and bake cycle times. • Operates equipment and machines accordingly to specific operational and safety instructions. • Brings to the attention of management, problems which affect the production quality of the area for which responsible. • Clear understanding of proper preparation and finish. • Completes all assignments in a timely manner. • Meets production schedules for delivery requirements. • Responsible to ensure all work and paperwork is accounted to the proper router or work order. • Responsible for maintaining paint booth and keeping paint storage area organized. • Responsible for maintaining all paint guns, pots, chips, gloss. • Proficient on accuracy and quality of work. • Performs visual inspection of all material prior to painting and after. PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: SUMMARY: Under limited direction of a lead/supervisor/manager, provides assembly support in building wire harness/wire harness board and or cable assemblies. • 5+ years: Wire harness assembly experience (highly preferred.) • Ability to read and follow wire harness assembly instructions. • Cuts, strips, crimps, or otherwise assembles the materials used to produce cable assemblies. ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS: • 5+ years’ work experience related to soldering and crimping in the electronics industry. • Ability to communicate with manager and follow written and verbal instructions. • Ability to interpret all documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, customer supplied drawings and IPC- 620 workmanship standards. • Motivated and detail oriented • Attention to detail, excellent hand dexterity • Proficient in basic math skills • Possesses good communication skills and a great attitude • Basic computer skills (database management, word processing and spreadsheet) • Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.
