Some of a plaster foreman's duties include: Organizing tasks: Assigning daily and general responsibilities to team members, and organizing tasks according to priorities and plans Skills in: Pumping, acrylic and cement based finishes, lath. Scheduling: Creating schedules and monitoring crew attendance Training and supervising: Training and supervising workers, and evaluating their performance Managing resources: Ensuring that manpower and resources are adequate Safety: Ensuring that all safety precautions are met, and that crew members exercise safe working practices Quality: Ensuring the quality, consistency, and completeness of plastering Ordering materials: Tracking and ordering materials for the job site, such as bricks, tools, or equipment Resolving problems: Addressing problems as they arise, and bringing them to the attention of management Coordinating: Coordinating with construction crews and supervisors to fulfill job duties Completing repairs: Completing repairs using plaster or other compounds
