Building on a Year of Rapid Commercialization

Zenergize claims to have developed India’s first domestically designed SiC-based DC fast charger and solar inverter platforms for commercial deployment. Its chargers have received automotive certifications, and its solar inverters are BIS-certified. The company’s order book now exceeds $12 million, driven by demand from India’s growing electric vehicle and renewable energy sectors.

The new funding will accelerate the development of next-generation platforms, including hybrid inverters, Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) inverters, and other power electronics solutions tailored to local grid conditions. “Our experience over the past year proves that advanced power electronics can be designed, manufactured, and commercialized in India,” said Navneet Daga, Co-founder and CEO. “We are now ready to scale and compete globally.”

Dr. Veer Karan Goyal, Co-founder and CTO, emphasized that the company’s SiC solutions are optimized for Indian grid conditions, yet the underlying architecture is transferable to other emerging markets and even developed economies. “We are not just copying foreign designs; we are solving real-world problems with cost-effective, robust power electronics,” he added.

Next Steps and Revenue Target

Zenergize aims to scale its annual revenue run rate beyond $12 million in its next growth phase. The company plans to expand its manufacturing capacity by 3x over the next 18 months and hire additional engineering talent for R&D in gallium nitride (GaN) and advanced SiC modules.

With the global SiC power device market projected to exceed $6 billion by 2027 (Yole Group), Zenergize is positioning itself as a cost-competitive alternative to established players like Wolfspeed, Infineon, and STMicroelectronics—particularly for applications in the $10,000–$50,000 per-unit range for commercial and industrial power systems.
