VALENCIA, CA – March 19, 2025 – Six Flags Magic Mountain today unveiled plans for Thrill Glider, a groundbreaking roller coaster set to open in 2027, while the park's iconic X2 ride remains closed following two serious brain injury incidents that have sparked multiple lawsuits.
The new attraction, developed by Dutch manufacturer Vekoma, claims the title of the world’s first "Thrillglider"—a hybrid category combining flying, motorbike, and suspended coaster technologies.
